Agreement
on Application Fees for Telephone Numbers and Internet Domains
The Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office
and Head of the National Authority of Post and Telecommunications
issues this Agreement
General Provisions
This Agreement defines application fee rates for telephone numbers and Internet domains approved by the NAPT based on the current actual application situation.
Collection of Application Fees for Telephone Numbers and Internet Domains
Article 2.Collection of Application Fees for Telephone Numbers and Internet Domains
Individuals, legal entities, and organizations who are allowed to use NAPT telephone numbers and Internet domains shall pay fees based on the rates listed below:

Article 3.Conditions for Using Telephone Numbers and Internet Domains
Individuals, legal entities, and organizations shall pay application fees for telephone numbers and Internet domains to the NAPT before using the service.
Exemption from Application Fees for Telephone Numbers and Internet Domains
Article 4.Exemption from Application Fees for Telephone Numbers and Internet Domains
4.1 Only application fees for telephone numbers and Internet domains specified by the National Authority of Post and Telecommunications can be exempted.
4.2 Application fees for telephone numbers and Internet domains used for emergency cases, experimental purposes, and special occasions can be exempted based on the Government’s instruction.
Policies towards Outstanding Contributors and Measures against Violators
Article 5.Policies towards Outstanding Contributors
Both domestic and foreign individuals, legal entities, and organizations who regularly pay application fees for telephone numbers and Internet domains and contribute to the protection of national resources in the area of telecommunications will be properly rewarded.
Article 6.Measures against Violators
Both domestic and foreign individuals, legal entities, and organizations who do not pay application fees for telephone numbers and Internet domains, report incorrect information, or forge documents will be fined and prosecuted based on the laws of the Lao PDR.
Final Provisions
Assign the Department of Telecommunications and Internet, National Authority of Post and Telecommunications, to implement this Agreement, collect application fees for telephone numbers and Internet domains, and ensure this Agreement is implemented uniformly across the country.
This Agreement enters into force on the date it is signed. Any agreements and regulations which conflict with this Agreement shall be cancelled.
