Decision
of the Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office, Head of the National Authority of Post and Telecommunications on the Reduction of Fees for Radio Frequency Application
- Pursuant to the Prime Minister’s Decree No. 375/PM dated October 22, 2007 on the Organization and Activity of the National Authority of Post and Telecommunications (NAPT).
- Pursuant to the Minute of Meeting dated May 14, 2010 on the collection of fees and service and application charges between the NAPT and telecommunication and internet service providers.
In order to create favorable conditions for telecommunications service providers in effectively and efficiently operating their business as well as generating more income for the national budget,
The Minister to the PMO, Head of the National Authority
of Post and Telecommunications hereby issues a Decision:
Article 1 Agree to collect radio frequency application fees based on the following rates:
- Rate for the radio frequency application for the GSM 900 and GSM 1800 cellular systems ……………..…………………………..…. 120,000 Kip/KHz.
- Rate for the radio frequency application of other cellular systems ………………………………………………………………100,000 Kip/KHz.
- Rate for the radio frequency application of a high-speed wireless communication system (WIMAX and other similar systems) 50,000 Kip/KHz.
Article 2 The Department of Telecommunications and Internet is assigned to effectively implement this Decision.
Article 3 This Decision is effective from 01 January 2010. Any regulations that contradict to this Decision shall be canceled.
