Subject: Abolishment of minimum registered capital requirement for foreign investors
In accordance to the investment Law (amendment) No. 14/NA, dated 17/11/2016, the cabinet of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce would like to notify all relevant agencies to strictly implement the following:
- Abolishment of the requirement on minimum registered capital for foreign investor to register the company. This abolishment shall enter into force from the date of the signature of this Notification. Exemption is applied in case a minimum registered capital is required for activities that are governed by other regulations/laws.
- The enforcement of bullet No. 1 above is also applied to business registration application that have been summitted in the process of consideration for approval. Exemption is applied in cases the investors do not wish to change an amount and wish to keep the same amount of a registered capital of their investment.
- In case further clarification are needed during the implementation of this notification, please contact the staff of Business Registration Department.
