Dear: - Director General of the Enterprise Registration Department, Ministry of Industry and Commerce
- Chairman of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry
- Individuals and legal entities that intend to conduct import-export business of vehicles across the country.
- According to the direction of the Prime Minister on 25/6/2024;
- According to the decision of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce’s operation and organization, No. 2072/MOIC, dated 15/11/2023;
- According to the Minister of Industry and Commerce’s Report, No. 1151/MOIC, dated 28/6/2024.
In managing and collecting statistics of vehicle importers and exporters to be more effective and accurate, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce would like to inform that from 09 July - 31 December 2024, will suspend the receipt of vehicle import-export business proposals for the reasons mentioned above and reopen the process on 01 January 2025 onwards.
Please be informed and implemented accordingly.
